I wrote this song on a train traveling alone between Newcastle and Glasgow on a day off from tour in November 2023. It’s primarily about the internal chaos I was feeling, and the adaptation it takes to walk the tightrope of the intense adulation and camaraderie of touring, with the juxtaposition of the complete solace and peace I was experiencing on the journey.
